JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL CITY II COMPLEX EXPANSION

Tecnimont S.p.A. and Tecnimont Arabia Limited, subsidiaries of Maire Group, have been awarded significant contracts by Advanced Global Investment Company (AGIC) for the development of two polypropylene units. These units will be part of the Integrated PDH-PP complex in Jubail Industrial City II, Saudi Arabia. Each unit will have a capacity of 400,000 tons per year. The project's scope includes complete engineering services, equipment supply, and construction activities up to start-up and performance testing.
This project represents a significant investment in Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical sector, creating job opportunities and stimulating local economic growth. The new polypropylene units will enhance the production capacity of AGIC, allowing them to meet the increasing demand for polypropylene in various industries and supporting the country's industrial diversification efforts.
THIS PROJECT REPRESENTS ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE IN THE GAS MONETIZATION STRATEGY, ENABLING TECNIMONT TO BE GEARED UP FOR SAUDI ARABIA’S LARGE WAVE OF INVESTMENTS IN DOWNSTREAM.
